Department: Chassis Technology Center

(Note: the transmission here is not AT/MT）

Objective: To realize the matching design of transmission system, solve the long-standing quality issues of transmission components

Responsibilities:

1.      Responsible for review of transmission products (mainly differential mechanism) design optimization scheme

2.      Responsible for the verification of transmission product design drawings

3.      Responsible for verifying transmission products through test to meet the functional and performance requirements (correspondence impact between bench test and vehicle road test,  validation specifications of bench test)

4.      Grasp the structure of transmission product and processing technology procedures

5.      Understand the failure modes of transmission product and development of preventive and corrective actions

6.      Promoting the fast lifting of technician expertise

7.      Responsible for settlement of chassis comprehensive issues which are related to transmission system (such as gear noise, final drive reducer noise, gear abnormal wear, starting noise, etc.)

Qualifications:

1.      Education: College degree or above

2.      Professional: Vehicle Engineering, Mechanical Design etc related professionals

3.      Experience: More than 10 years working experience in automobile technology, with strong organization and coordination abilities, over 35 years old

4.      Skills Requirements:

A.     Necessary Capacity: resource management ability, problem solving, teamwork and communication skills, code of conduct

B.     Post Skills:

1)        With a rich design experience of automobile components, have engaged in design of transmission system project experience

2)        Proficient to use design software, familiar with automobile design and development process and methodologies

3)        With strong project coordination and technology management capacity

4)        Understanding of automobile transmission technology and its development trends

C.     Tool Skills:

1)        Design failure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA): familiar with general failure modes and failure mechanism of products, able to find root problems and develop appropriate solutions

2)        Design of experiment (DOE): familiar with DOE concept, fully understanding the orthogonal experimental design

3)        CAD: mastering CAD two-dimensional operations, CATIA 3D modeling basic operations
